Georgia Grinders: No sugar added nut butter options
Kid-friendly snacks and meals can be a challenge for all. We want what is best for our kids and it starts with us as parents. We have to ensure that they are eating food that does not contain anything harsh as part of the ingredient list. That is why I love this Georgia grown company, Georgia Grinders aka Naturalmond, because their nut butters have ingredients you can trust and ingredients you can pronounce. I love butter and I stress love butter to the point where I will sit down right beside the kids and eat a peanut or nut butter sandwich but for the most part the nut butter has sugar in it which…

Downtown Detroit Bucket List: 6 Stops 2 Days
Skydiving, snorkling with the fishes, deep sea fishing… We all have some type of list including the things we want to do in the future (near or far), so I decided to share my bucket list for Detroit in hopes that maybe you may want to do some of them yourself. Detroit has been given a bad rap and some honestly is true, however some of it is not and it should not scare you or deter you from visiting. There are plenty of wonderful attractions and great food for you to enjoy in Detroit. My father’s side of the family had a reunion in Detroit recently, so I figured…

Live on Forever The Afters CD Review #Flyby
Things are more and more challenging living in this world and you have to hold on to someone and for me that is Father God. He actually holds on to me, because quite frankly with some of my actions and decisions, I clearly wasn’t holding on to Him. He manages to speak to people many ways and for me sometimes it is through music. In particular, one group I have recently been following is The Afters. First exposure to this group was the song, Light up the Sky and I have been in like since that album and they are back now with a new release called Live On Forever. My favorite…

I have joined one of my blogger buds, Tre Harrington at Non Perfect Parenting and decided to mention a #giveaway that she is helping host that will help you with your cleaning. See some of what you can win:…

Movie Review: The Reconciler
Eerie music in the background. Two men trapped in a room with no way out. One is awake and one is dead or is he? From the start of the movie to the end you do want to miss what happens. So what does that mean? Take bathroom breaks, get your snacks and make your calls before or after the movie or otherwise you will miss something. This is not your typical dark and scary movie, but it is a movie that will make you wonder where things are going every scene. This is a story of hope, redemption, faith and love. God is all over the movie, however if…
