Georgia Peach Fashion Week #GPFW Recap
Georgia Peach Fashion Week #GPFW Recap One of the hottest fashion weeks was held here in Atlanta in April 2016. This is the second year for the Georgia Peach Fashion Week #gpfw and each year it gets better and better. More designers and models, bigger venue, more press you could not beat it. Speaking of press, I was asked to be a part of media as God4bandme and I proudly as well as my husband/manager covered it to the best of our ability. We took lots and lots of pictures and were allowed to take behind the scenes footage (pictures and video below). The awesome opportunity to be backstage as…

da Kink in My Hair at Horizon Theatre Atlanta
What a title?!! ‘da Kink in My Hair and Lord knows I have a lot of kinks in my 4b hair, but you know God gave it to me and I chose to love it anyway. Now where do most people, women and men, share their most juiciest of the juiciest? If you said the hair salon or the barber shop you are absolutely correct. This new play that has won 4 NAACP Awards is headed to the great, Horizon Theatre and yes again, I am looking forward to this one. It is bound to make you laugh and cry like one tends to do in the hair salon anyway:)…

Kia Sorento Turned My Birthday Around
You talk about a week starting off crappy: our water was out for 5 days straight and no it was not because we did not pay the bill. There is no bill. The middle of the week I was approved for a Kia Sorento and when was it being delivered? Yes, my birthday and so this is a story on how Kia Sorento Turned My Birthday Around. Enjoyed almost everyday that I had the Kia Sorento taking advantage…

I Can See Thanks to GlassesShop.com
Blogging over 30 hours a week, not including working outside of the home for 40 hours each week is not easy. Something is going to suffer and unfortunately it is my eyes. Both my parents wear glasses and it was only a matter of time that a vision challenge even a small one would pop up. Okay, it is not their fault:). I do have a horrible habit of when I focus to lean forward towards the computer monitor and that I know has paid a price. The price is me having to get my eyes checked and being told something I was hoping not to hear but not surprised…

Where the different sides of the political divide might have opposed each other persay in public, but afterwards sought to have a discussion over dinner and drinks. Main character, matriarch Hester was the hostess with the mostess. She was one who hosted parties and had different sides there to discuss politics and many a vote or thought were changed due to the behind the scenes conversation. Until then her life seemed to go a bit smoothly until her…

Family Devotional Bible: Review and Giveaway
David Confesses His Terrible Sin, what a way to get someone’s attention. I have read and heard about this particular story (time in his life) and to see if in a way that everyone can understand it and have questions so that everyone in the family can get involved is great. There is nothing like having one on one time with the Father, however taking time to study and read God’s Word with the family is an ultimate way to help keep the family together and to come together for something worthwhile. Family Devotional Bible: Review and Giveaway There are 130 key stories from the Bible that are retold using…

The City of Conversation: Horizon Theatre Atlanta
The City of Conversation: Horizon Theatre Atlanta Just in time for the elections this year, here comes another great play at the Horizon Theatre that centers around decades of a political family. Now with the internet and cell phones that are computers most conversations are had over the internet, however in this bound to be controversal and hilarious, there are a lot of face to face conversations that are guaranteed to be heated. Washington DC was once a place where people actually talked to each other… savvy maven Hester Ferris opens her home for political foes to lay down arms and raise a glass. But that is all about the…
