Grape Harvest Celebration Party
Harvested grapes can make such beautiful music in one’s glass and that is what we found at the Grape Harvest Celebration Party last weekend. An intimate gathering of people from various races, genders and experiences enjoying great wine, good farm to table pairings, and enlightening conversations. This evening was a special treat for hubby and I because we’ve never been to a winery. This was a collaborated event with The Gifted Ferret, a beautiful shopping boutique and Big Door Vineyards, winery which is currently being built. We checked in and were given our own engraved wine glass that we took to each table to sample the various wines. Let’s get sampling and first…

4 Free things to do while in Macon
It was boring staying in that hotel room looking at cable television all day while the hubster went about enjoying his business meeting, so instead of being cooped up in the hotel I decided to venture out. During my adventuring, I managed to get lost a good couple of times (I will not say how many, but let’s just say I managed to find my way back by the time his meetings were over for the day) and while I was getting lost I found some need things to do for free.

Bearing Witness Book Review
How much are you willing to sacrifice to bear witness of Jesus Christ? What price are you or have you been willing to pay for the cause of Christ? There have always been in the past mentions of people dying for their beliefs in Christ, but did you know that it has been going on for years and continues to occur. It sounds like it is fake or untrue, but it is indeed the truth and thousands have lost their lives that we will never hear about but in Bearing Witness, there are 36 stories giving accounts of Early Christians to present day Christians. If you enjoy history and faith…

Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo coming to Atlanta
I am overjoyed at this opportunity. Hubby and I went last year and learned a lot, but this year I was selected to cover the event officially as a blogger. Come meet me there and see why this is one of the hottest expos coming to Atlanta. This is an event that welcomes all of course, but those in particular who have allergies and a sensitivity to gluten. I am still learning and actually looking to incorporate this lifestyle in particular in the area of pregnancy loss. There is supposed to be a correlation between gluten and miscarriage so it is good for those who have challenges in this area…

Glaming up with Suuchi
Glaming up my wardrobe is one of my desires this year. I usually have on some type of black this or that, but rarely do I have a chance to spice it up a bit unless it is on special occasions. Today being Wednesday, I decided to take a chance and dress a bit differently today. I am late for my try something new Tuesday post, so this will be taking it’s place. I know, I know, I am working on putting posts out there on time and more frequently:) I was so privileged to have received for free in exchange for my honest review, this custom made beautiful gold…

Savannah almost got me
Traveling and exploring new and fun sites are one of my favorite things to do. It seems that every time we visit somewhere new I fall in love, but I am sure it is just the newness of it. There are a few places so far, that I have hated to leave: Maui: my hubby and I were married Seattle: it always seems to be gloomy, but I think because one of my favorite television shows’ character lived there Frasier Savannah: fast paced slow city Punta Cuna: place where I went on my best grown up vacas with my parents The one that I tell hubby that we can definitely…
