4 Free things to do while in Macon

Free-Things-to-do-in-Macon

It was boring staying in that hotel room looking at cable television all day while the hubster went about enjoying his business meeting, so instead of being cooped up in the hotel I decided to venture out. During my adventuring, I managed to get lost a good couple of times (I will not say how many, but let’s just say I managed to find my way back by the time his meetings were over for the day) and while I was getting lost I found some need things to do for free.

Welcome-to-Macon

I managed to tag along with hubby (to one of his conferences/business trips) and Lord knows I needed a break from work, so when he asked if I wanted to go I of course said Haleyeh coming soon to a town near you. I jumped at the chance to make it another one of our ever so famous, Hale Adventures, where we just wing some of the trip and just do something different.

So in my boredom, I ventured to the Visitor’s Center downtown Macon and while I was there I noticed a billboard along with other signage that said that Macon is the “Heart of Soul” partially because of some of some greats being born and raised there like, Little Richard, Otis Redding and many others.

Tesla-in-Macon

While walking around, I noticed that someone took my car (that Tesla you see) I let someone borrow it while I walked the streets of Macon:) Apparently, there were occasional spots to charge the car so that was cool. On to the highlights of the trip and I narrowed it down to just 4, but I only had basically a day and a half to squeeze what I did do in.
