Sunny Anderson Snack Stadium
Sunny Anderson Snack Stadium To be honest, I am not a big football fan, however I am a fan of the snacks, commercials and fellowship. This is a big anticipated Super Bowl this year since the Atlanta Falcons are in the playoffs and yes, because I live in Georgia now I will be rooting for the Falcons. I was given some coupons for Heluva Good products in exchange for a post/review. While enjoying the game, I will be looking forward to the great game day spread and thanks to Sunny Anderson I have something extra special to look forward to. I used to watch Sunny Anderson all the time when…

Fogo de Chão: Perfect for Birthdays
Birthdays are one of the best reasons to celebrate and quite frankly, I found that Fogo de Chão: Perfect for Birthdays. Hubby wanted the experience of eating at a Brazilian restaurant and there I began researching which one I should take him to and after some time researching, I had to find the perfect one and it was Fogo de Chão. This was his first, but certainly not last experience of this type, so it had to be special. Brief History: 1979 1st Fogo was born in Porto Alegre and the 2nd was born in 1987 in Sãn Paulo. 1997 Fogo expanded stateside to Texas and from there…

Constellations: Horizon Theatre Atlanta
I was able to attend for the first time a Sneak Peek of a play that is going to be at the Horizon Theatre in Little 5 Points in Atlanta, Georgia. The play is going to be wonderful and below is a little snippet of what it is about, but what I was most interested in was the behind the scenes which is what the attendees received at the sneak peek. Seeing how all of the departments from music, set design, lighting, etc comes together to make something so spectacular once it is done. Constellations: Horizon Theatre Atlanta Kicking off Horizon’s 2017 season is the smash hit from Broadway and…

Capers Restaurant and Bar
There are not many restaurants that I have frequented that have open kitchens, but Capers Restaurant and Bar does and that along with the beautifully decorated restaurant and lounging area is something that will keep you coming back. There is even a piano bar there, but unfortunately no one was performing that day, but we had enough great company that we did not miss the music. Speaking of decor, next time we go we will have to ask them if they will let us have some of those blue glasses:) Capers Restaurant Located off of Old 41 in Kennesaw, I have heard great things about Capers on Main (when initially opened)…

Shiftcon 2016 causing major shifts
This is the first blogger conference that I have attended as a volunteer and an attendee and it was magnificent. Shift happens and after this conference I want to be more involved in making a change. Making a little shift in my neck of the woods can impact the world and this conference has proven (with all of the bloggers, influencers, companies and speakers) that time and time again over the weekend of December 1-3, 2016. Shiftcon 2016 was in NOLA this year which we jumped at attending because it was our 1st time to be in NOLA together. More coverage of our visit is to come… Now I can…

How to reduce stress with Just Chill
Boy of boy do I miss the seeing the beautiful sunset with my hubby off of the beach in Daytona Beach Florida. I want to go back NOW!!! The water is so calming and refreshing it just draws you in. I could sit on the beach all day and just listen to the waves from the ocean and all the cares of the world just go away. This was back in September when hubby and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary and we finally took a whole week’s vacation which had not happened since we were married 9 years ago so we decided to enjoy every minute we could. How…

Focus Features Loving
Focus Features Loving Now playing in select cities From acclaimed writer/director Jeff Nichols, “Loving†celebrates the real-life courage and commitment of an interracial couple, Richard and Mildred Loving (Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga), who married and then spent the next nine years fighting for the right to live as a family in their hometown. Their civil rights case, Loving v. Virginia, went all the way to the Supreme Court, which in 1967 reaffirmed the very foundation of the right to marry – and their love story has become an inspiration to couples ever since. Even though it will be hard to watch some scenes, it is still a story of…

The Blessings of Unity Book Review and Giveaway
I was given a copy of The Blessings of Unity Book to read and give my opinion about. Marriage is an institution that I fully enjoy. Sure are some of the days challenging? Yes, but I would not change it for the world and more importantly I would not change the man I am married to. Hubby and I are approaching our 10 year anniversary next year and as many others it has not been the smoothest road. There have been many times we were going to part ways before and with Christ. We both came from very different home situations and experiences and brought that into our marriage…
