As Seen On TV: Turbo Jet Power Washer

Washing the outside windows and very tall windows for most individuals is a chore that one tends to leave until there is no other choice. For instance, when company is coming in during holidays or you are dealing with people, including family, that usually do an inspection when they come and the taller windows are the ones that tend to be left out. We live in a ranch house which thank God does not have very tall windows, but for the sake of experimentation, we decided for this today’s Try Something New Tuesdays (tsnt), that we will try a product from As Seen on TV (Turbo Power Washer).

For the reasonable price that the item cost, we decide to try it out and you will have a chance to see that later in the video below if it works well or not. We used the power washer on the siding on the house (bird poop) and windows (just plain dirty and too high for our reach). We do not have a ladder, so this turbo jet actually helped when reaching the windows, but did it clean them?

Manufacturer’s Take: We found that there are 2 different nozzle settings: Fan-Spray and Jet-Stream. The Jet-Stream is supposed to blast away tough dirt and grime and the Fan-Spray is used to wash cars and large surfaces.

They also give other good suggestions as to what to use this product for:

  • Patio Furniture
  • Pool Filters
  • Driveways & Sidewalks
  • Decks & Docks
  • Windows & Eaves

Our take: It is a great way to get some of the dirt off of the windows, but not actually clean them thoroughly because there was not any soap or detergent used. The bird crap on the window as you saw did not come off well and that again was due to no soap or detergent being used. If you want to remove leaves off of the porch, ground or deck this turbo jet power washer words well and the reach is good without the use of a ladder.

Thank you for commenting. I do think that it will work well for clearing gunk from the trees and the road as well as bird poop. We will have to bring this baby back out once it is a little warmer out and see what else it can be used for.
