I Miss My Heartbeats

Heartbeats

As I laid on my husband’s chest and listened to his heartbeat I began to feel a little sad. I hear my heartbeat all the time and it seems to be no big deal until there is something wrong and I thank God to still be able to hear it. I became a little sad because I thought about our little ones, my little ones that I miscarried and how I miss my heartbeats.

This post is not to harp on the sadness that I and countless others have felt during times like these and/or others when heartbeats become faint and then no more from senseless violence and other tragic events. This post is to help remind those that love life and are willing to take a stand for it, to continue to do so and for you to know that I have your back. God has your back for God loves life.

I Miss My Heartbeats

As I think about other men and women, who have miscarried and are still waiting on God, I say to you, “Don’t give up the fight ladies and gentlemen. What God has promised He has to deliver because He does not lie!

Isaiah 40:31: Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.

In the meantime, while waiting, I invite you to take part in a March for Life in your local city and try to get your mind off of just your situation and be open to maybe speak for other who cannot speak for themselves. I have enjoyed each time that I have gone to a March for Life March in Atlanta and have never regretted it.

I do miss my heartbeats, but I know that they are in heaven with Father God and are having a ball, so back to sleep on hubby’s chest I go.

Keep the faith. (Partial scripture: For we will reap if we faint not (Galatians 6:9)Â
