Curls on the Runway Atlanta

This past weekend, Curls Bosslady, Mahisha Dellinger, and her team put together some cool events. I was privileged to be able to attend the charity event, Curls on the Runway.

The event took place at the Carlyle in Atlanta, and it was a perfect place to have the event. It was roomy and spacious and it was nicely decorated, with lots of vendors, black designers and creatives, photo opportunities and more. VIPs were greeted with some champagne, received passed hors d’oeuvres and signature drinks, front row seating at the fashion show, access to the Celebrity Meet & Greet and a luxurious gift bag valued at over $300. I have not dug into the bag yet, but it is calling me.

The proceeds went to Strong Home Network here in Atlanta. The fashion show was spectacular. Hosted by Yandy Smith-Harris and musical guest was Yung Joc. They both were sooo cool.

I saw some pieces that I wanted to purchase, and after I get these credit cards down some, I will be visiting them all unless they want to just gift me with a piece or two or three.
