Healthy Snack: Nut Butter Apple Sprinkle

Received a couple of sample jars in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Post may contain affiliate links. #ad

I am a major snacker and found that I had better learn how to snack smartly. Yes there is a such thing and I was about to try it out. I figured that I would need a go to recipe. Something that I can always make and make quickly if I need and/or want to snack. Perfect for adults as well as kids.

I decided to take a few things that I enjoy eating separately, apples, nut butter, chocolate and coconut and put them together. I know it sounds horrible, but it really isn’t see below:

I did not measure anything just winged it:

Healthy Snack: Nut Butter Apple Sprinkle

Betsy’s Butter Almond Butter  as much as you would like to use

Red delicious apple sliced approximately 8 to 10 pieces

About a tablespoon of mini chocolate chips (melted in microwave)

About ¼ a cup of sliced coconut unsweetened

Betsy’s Butters are gluten free, non-gmo and all natural. You cannot go wrong. It is a great substitute for “regular” butters because of the added chia seeds that are found in her products which adds more protein, see benefits of chia seeds here: More About Chia Seeds.

About Betsy

As a registered dietitian and the 2015 Florida Young Mother of the Year, she hated it when she saw chemicals and artificial ingredients junking up healthy and delicious foods like peanut butter (there’s nothing gourmet about partially hydrogenated soybean oil.)

Betsy only uses wholesome, natural ingredients in her Seed Butter, Almond, Cashew and Peanut Butters and it is mixed with delish extras like cinnamon and chia seeds, to create products that are totally nutritious, delicious and different.

Perfect gift for the health nut you know. Get it health nut😊 You can get some here: Almond Butter, Cashew Butter, Sunflower Seed Butter, and Peanut Butter.

Have you tried Betsy’s Nut or Seed Butters? Which flavor do you like the most?

This looks delicious! I love Allman butter anyway and mixing it with apples is a great idea. To healthy snack that will give him the satisfaction of sweet and salty together for me.

I love the addition of the chia seeds and that the nut butter is all natural. This seems like a great alternative to regular nut butter.

I love experimenting with foods and this looks really good! I’ve always used regular peanut butter and know that there are a lot of other healthier versions, but after trying all natural peanut butter, one time, I did not like it. This sounds like it would be different.

Haven’t heard of this brand. Like an honest review. Will have to check it out in the grocery store.

This sounds tasty! I don’t think I’ve ever had something like this, but I’m pretty sure I’d enjoy it. I’ve never had nut or seed butter yet.

I love nut butters! I usually make my own but I am going to check out this brand!

I have never seen this product before. But I love nut butter, high in protein, good for breakfast or snack time.

That sure looks like a healthy, delicious and quick to prepare snack. I haven’t tried the Betsy’s Butters product line but I sure would love to them. I am glad that these butters only contain all natural ingredients!

This is really interesting! I’ve never tried this sort of product before but it’s definitely one I would try. I think it would be great with the apples the way you have used it and I bet my daughter would love it with strawberries.
