Hey all. Romance has been in the air and is still in the air. Valentine’s Day or Weekend is just another special time to show the one or ones you love how much you appreciate them. For some it involved some expensive dinner out followed by a proposal (so romantic) or something just as romantic, but in the house and a lot less money. We had the best of both worlds, Saturday we spent the evening out with some cool couples but Sunday we decided that it would just be the two of us.

I just thought that I would share with you an Easy Spicy Shrimp Recipe that we made up for part of our Valentine’s Day Dinner. It is gluten free and paleo diet friendly so stick around if you would like to see what all it involved.

Easy Spicy Shrimp Recipe

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp parsley flakes

1 lb jumbo shrimp

1 tsp ground red pepper

1 tsp paprika

2 TSP Olive Oil

3 TSP Lemon Juice

Add of the ingredients and add the shrimp afterwards and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 45 minutes. We kept the shrimp in its juice, but I would take it out of the juice and cook in preheated oven for 12 minutes on 375 degrees.

Picture below of them after they cooked in a preheated oven on 375 for 12 minutes. I personally like my items a little charred to give it that grilled look, but since hubby was cooking I let him do whatever he wanted. I just sat back and watched television and only helped when he asked me to which was not often. Gotta love it. This is my try something new tuesday selection, did you try anything new today?
