Lesson on being a Good Receiver
I do not know about you, but I tend to be a little hardheaded. Somethings I just manage to learn the hard way and others I thank God learn much easier and faster, but being a good receiver is not it. I am going to assume as far back as I can remember that I have always had a problem receiving compliments because I never really thought much of myself until recent years. Learning to believe that I am valuable not because of what men/man says about me, but because of what Father God says about me is a continuous lesson.

IGO Life-Chain: Nationwide Pro-life Event
I have been challenged to write this piece and it has been almost as if because of the message that the enemy of my soul would preferred that I not write it, but thank God He is working in me and I feel released to write it. Pro-life and Pro-choice issues have been in the media pretty strong from organizations who support choice and from those who support life. Honestly, in my past, I have been on the side of choice, but thank God He has changed my heart about this issue. It is an issue that is very close to the heart of God and in my past when…

90 Minutes in Heaven Review
Thanks to FlyBy Promotions, I have been given the opportunity to view the opening scene to 90 Minutes in Heaven and if you like there is a trailer below that I am able to share: OFFICIAL TRAILER I have heard the Pastor tell part of his story on TBN years back, but this really brings it more to life by seeing it on the screen. I believe that it happened to him and as much as I want to see the Father, I do not know if I would have been ready for this type of encounter. Does he live to tell the story? Check out the movie to find…

Feed the Homeless with GPFW and MUST Ministries
If you are a service oriented individual and have a heart for others, there is a worthwhile community event taking place Monday, September 7, 2015 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Marietta location of MUST Ministries. My husband and I were asked by a dear brother from our church last year if we wanted to take part in feeding the homeless event and we jumped on it. We prepared a dish and served in whatever capacity was needed that day. It was indeed rewarding just to see the smiles on the faces of some individuals and families who would not have had a Christmas meal that day. We…

Oh My Goodness This Drive Is Too Long
You see we were on this quest to find a nice house in a nice area for not as much money we were coughing up for the past year. We want to own our own house again, so in order to do that we had to decide to save money somewhere somehow. I am not sure how many of you out there have done this, but to help us save money we moved to a house in an area that is not so expensive, but guess what??!! Are you guessing? If you said, “You had to move further out.” You would have been right and here is your gold star.…

What are you seeing and hearing?
Hello All. I am going to say this ahead of time and that is some readers will say to themselves or even outloud, “This child is crazy.” To which, I would reply, “Yeah, maybe.” Stay tuned and you will see why I say this. This past weekend was the big, “Valentine’s Day” and most were with their significant others and right along with most of the world, so was I. We took a road trip Sunday to ‘bama and we were listening to some 80s on well known internet radio station. Keep in mind I am in my 40s so I was around during that time and have heard…

What’s Your Price?
This is very personal for me, because it deals with a topic I still from time to time struggling with, but hope to help others to not struggle with it long or not at all. That is Self-worth. I asked, “What’s your price?”, in the beginning because I wanted you to take the time to thing about it. Do you have a price? What price are you willing to pay for others (male or female) to like you, accept you and/or love you? I allowed myself to be degraded for the love of men. I turned away from my Father in heaven, by committing actions that he despise and that…

2015 Georgia March for Life (Pro-life)
Hello All. This is just a brief post on a subject very near and dear to my heart and that is LIFE. This was on my Pastors’ hearts majorly since last year and the need for us a church body to represent was just as intense. We as a church, attended for the 1st time in 2014 and it was at the State Capital and this year it was held in an area that was more conducive for crowds and that was at Liberty Plaza. My hubby and I went the 1st year together, but because he had to go to training this year he missed it. I missed my…

#1 Way to keep your resolutions
Like many in the world I have made some type of New Year’s resolution: time to start reading the Bible more, praying more, eating less sweets, working more, and probably the number one is to become healthier. Shh!!! (Looking around), between you and me the hardest for me would be eating less sweets, but each of us have our thing. I like many others started out great but that one moment of stress or challenge might hit and then you change and go back to your “normal routineâ€, whether that be to slack up and not go to the gym and work out, eating a half a cake (I have…

Christmas: Call to Action
This is a call to action, People of God. Â Romans 8:1, NIV, Â Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. This is a time of celebration for many and also a time of despair for others. As most tend to do, we go down a list of what we want for Christmas this year and if they do not give me this or that how upset we would be, but really is this what this season is for? As a Christ follower the answer at least for this Christ follower is a loud, shouting off the top of the roof, NO!!!! If I used curse…
