Ways to Give Mom a Spa Experience at Home

A Mom’s work never done and it can be so hard. We are wired to work with little to no sleep and still be able to hold it together. Often times we do not take care of ourselves and I mentioned on a recent post, self-care is necessary and is not wrong. We serve others and as for me it is hard for me to be a receiver. Why? I am used to being a giver, so when I am confronted with someone wanting to do stuff for me it is a challenge for me to accept it. Scratch that!!! It used to be a challenge for me, but not anymore!!

I am sharing with you today, Ways to Give Mom a Spa Experience at Home which are some things that I like even though I am not a girly girl, but really can appreciate a spa experience.

Get some sparking rose’ grape juice or real rose’ (no judgement) and pour her a glass as she awaits her spa experience

Get some strawberries and dip them in chocolate for her and put them in a cute heart shaped bowl or fill the bowl with her favorite candy

Set the mood with some scented candles (jasmine, lotus, lilac and white gardenia) all around the room you are pampering her in and/or her favorite aromatherapy scent

Make sure to put her on some music that relaxes her. Don’t assume what it is. Just askJ

Set out some polish for her to choose from her collection or be daring and pick up some colors that you think she will like.

    Such good gift ideas and a great way to make Mom feel special on Mother’s Day. I’m looking for the perfect present for my mom so this is definitely one of my options. Great post!

    What great ideas for a home spa experience. Also, while mom is doing her nails or having a bath, it’s also a good idea for dad (or another adult), to take the kids somewhere so mom can have an hour or two to herself! 🙂

    My mom is obsessed with spa treatments, she said that for her birthday the only thing she want to do is nothing and to get a nice facial and a spa treatment.I think from time to time our moms should really do nothing and just relax !

    Oh I love the idea of giving moms an in-home pamper me basket. I actually gave my mom, cousin and aunt something similar a few years ago and they definitely love it.

    All of these are great! I’d definitely love a manicure spa for myself and I’m a total sucker for scented candles! Actually, I’ll take them all! lol! Great list!
