Stitch Fix Stylist for the Not so Stylish

Process (excerpt from Stitch Fix website):

They start by asking questions regarding size preferences for clothing, examples of clothing are given that you chose from to help the stylist gauge what type of clothing one would like.

You decide how often would you like to receive Fixes automatically? Which you can chose from 2-3 weeks, every month, every other month or every 3 months.

Pick the date you’d like to receive your shipment and once you do that your Stylist selects your items, you will be charged a $20 styling fee. That $20 will be applied as a credit toward anything you keep from your shipment.

Benefit for those that do not like to go out and deal with the dressing rooms and lines, you are able to try everything on from the comfort of your own home. Create new outfits by pairing what’s in your shipment with items that are already in your closet.

After trying everything on, you have the opportunity to buy what you like and return the rest. 3 days to decide what you are purchasing and you’re only charged for items you choose to keep when you check out.

My first Stitch Fix box:

I did not chose anything from the 1st box even though I liked 3/5 items, I decided to pass and go for the next box which had the following:

Rowan Hammered Infinity Cuff: the cuff was one that I contemplated on adding to my jewelry collection, but I did pass this time on this piece of jewelry.

Queensland Dolman Jersey Top and Brianna Skinny Pant: the jersey top is a nice color and fit nicely, but I thought that for the price it was a bit thin. The skinny pant I did like, but did not want to pay the price for it.

Brae Mesh Detail Scuba Dress: I thought it was a nice fitting dress, but a little old fashioned. Hubby liked it and thought that it fit well, but I sent it back. I did love the mess on the dress.

And out of this Stitch Fix box, I did manage to keep one item:

Tamira Hooded Cardigan: too cute to pass up and hubby liked it as well so it was a keeper. I figured that I have other pieces that I can add it to that would go nicely. 🙂
