Focus Features Loving
Focus Features Loving Now playing in select cities From acclaimed writer/director Jeff Nichols, “Loving†celebrates the real-life courage and commitment of an interracial couple, Richard and Mildred Loving (Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga), who married and then spent the next nine years fighting for the right to live as a family in their hometown. Their civil rights case, Loving v. Virginia, went all the way to the Supreme Court, which in 1967 reaffirmed the very foundation of the right to marry – and their love story has become an inspiration to couples ever since. Grape Harvest Celebration Party
Harvested grapes can make such beautiful music in one’s glass and that is what we found at the Grape Harvest Celebration Party last weekend. An intimate gathering of people from various races, genders and experiences enjoying great wine, good farm to table pairings, and enlightening conversations. This evening was a special treat for hubby and I because we’ve never been to a winery. This was a collaborated event with The Gifted Ferret, a beautiful shopping boutique and Big Door Vineyards, winery which is currently being built. We checked in and were given our own engraved wine glass that we took to each table to sample the various wines. Let’s get sampling and first…

Downtown Detroit Bucket List: 6 Stops 2 Days
Skydiving, snorkling with the fishes, deep sea fishing… We all have some type of list including the things we want to do in the future (near or far), so I decided to share my bucket list for Detroit in hopes that maybe you may want to do some of them yourself. Detroit has been given a bad rap and some honestly is true, however some of it is not and it should not scare you or deter you from visiting. There are plenty of wonderful attractions and great food for you to enjoy in Detroit. My father’s side of the family had a reunion in Detroit recently, so I figured…

I have joined one of my blogger buds, Tre Harrington at Non Perfect Parenting and decided to mention a #giveaway that she is helping host that will help you with your cleaning. Opening night was a success and every night/showing since, so you want to get in to see this awesome play before it leaves Atlanta. Georgia Peach Fashion Week #GPFW Recap
Georgia Peach Fashion Week #GPFW Recap One of the hottest fashion weeks was held here in Atlanta in April 2016. This is the second year for the Georgia Peach Fashion Week #gpfw and each year it gets better and better. More designers and models, bigger venue, more press you could not beat it. Speaking of press, I was asked to be a part of media as God4bandme and I proudly as well as my husband/manager covered it to the best of our ability. We took lots and lots of pictures and were allowed to take behind the scenes footage (pictures and video below). The awesome opportunity to be backstage as…
