African Pride Bouncy Curls Pudding

Curls, tight curls, moisturized curls comes together for beautiful curls. Oh so I hope…….

On another attempt to find the perfect hair products for my 4b natural hair, I tried again some new product for Try Something New Tuesdays.

African-Pride-Bouncy-Curls-Pudding

African Pride Bouncy Curls Pudding is what I decided to try this week and the 1st thing that I have noticed is that the pudding has a wonderful scent. That alone will keep me if that was all it took, but it is not so on to the next observation, the pudding was light pink and was stiff and did not move a lot when I shook the container. That was a good start because I was hoping that it would mean that the product was more cream and less water based. My hair tends to hold water and this time it did not change.

I detangled my hair first with a cheap conditioner, oil and water combination, following that, I used TGIN shampoo and conditioner and then proceeded to use the African Pride Bouncy Curls Pudding.

Directions on the container:
Rub a generous amount of pudding between your palms. Gently finger comb section-by-section from rots to ends. Continue stretching and elongating curls until satisfied with curl definition.

Try a two strand twist by applying pudding to damp or dry hair, twisting each section. The more you twist the more you can define the size and length of the curl. Air dry, blow dry w/diffuser or dry under hood. Untwist each sections fro a fuller look or just leave twisted for tighter look.

Results? Well, I will know for sure come Sunday which is when I will take the two strand twists apart.

I paid for this product with my own money and my opinion is honest and unbiased.

Have you used this product? How well did it work for you?
