The Kitchen at Summit Chase Amazes

Metro Atlanta has restaurants opening all over the place, but I bet the food does not taste as good as it does here….

Getting to hang out with my friend Linda, from Women of Culinary, after being on lockdown due to the pandemic and just having a hectic schedule, we were finally able to break bread together at a wonderful new restaurant in the Metro Atlanta Area.

Let me tell you about it. If you are looking for a restaurant that uses farm fresh ingredients and focuses on making items from scratch, well let me introduce you to The Kitchen at Summit Chase.

They have just come out recently with their new dinner menu, where you will experience some of the most delicious meals from small plates to desserts.

We were able to meet Chef Daniel in between him working hard to create the most beautiful plates for the guests in the restaurant. Chef was able to share with us his inspiration and his beliefs about the culinary space.

The Kitchen at Summit Chase Menu Items

The new menu features eight small plates, six large plates, and steak options, along with soups and salads.

We had a private tasting where we were able to sample various items, which included:

Brussels Sprouts

Blackened Brie

Short Rib Bao

Bao

Pimento Cheese Fritters

We could have gotten full off of the small plates alone because they were so delicious, but we had to save room for our main courses.

I had salmon with scallion jasmine rice, french green beans, and soy caramel with a side of scallops and lobster mac & cheese.

Linda had the ribeye w/yukon mashed potatoes, french green beans, red wine demi, and matrie d butter topped with butter poached lobster.

Oh my goodness!!! Every item was good in and of itself, but together, pure perfection. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The rice was so tasty and is something that I can eat by itself. The soy caramel and green beans delish. Scallops were so tender and wonderfully seasoned. The lobster mac & cheese, well, uniquely different and unique and just mouthwatering.

The Kitchen at Summit Chase can be found in the Summit Chase Country Club. It is open to the public. No membership is required. Staff were friendly and inviting with inside and outside seating.
