Redefining-Red-Book

Redefining Red is one of the first books after starting my #newyearnewyou challenge and it is quite frankly perfect timing. As I have mentioned, one of the goals is to be closer to Father God. This book is one that will get you engaged with interesting and totally relate-able stories, thought provoking chapters and a section at the end of each chapter to be able to connect more with Father God.

Having red lights are not always a bad thing. Pastor Elictia shows us how to turn the red-light moments into meaningful encounters with God and moving forward to discover all that life has to offer. At the end of each chapter, there is time of self reflection, a Go Deeper and Go Further section which pulls it all together.

One of my favorite chapters is Chapter 8, In the Crosshairs, which I can relate to due to me feeling that way since August due to challenges at my job. I felt that I was the target and was being shot at on every hand and at the end of the chapter in Go Deeper there were questions like: When have you faced a dangerous situation that left you worried about being harmed or injured? Who has betrayed you whom you need to forgive? And yes, these questions really had me thinking and then in the Go Further section there was this awesome prayer that involved asking Father God to help me forgive them an give me strength and power to confront my fears.

Redefining Red is a book that can be read over and over to help change your prospective when you feel stuck on the red light moments:)
