McDonald’s is Celebrating Avengers Endgame

On the heels of one of the most anticipated movies of the year, one of the beautifully upgraded McDonald’s locations in the #Atl invited us out for a tour and give me a chance to share with you all some of the tasty offering that they have and a very special offer for the kiddos that you have got to take advantage of.
Upon arrival you find that large signage with Avengers Endgame characters on the front window and I just knew that I was in for some fun that evening. Avengers is one of my favorite and I mean favorite movie franchises and so when I was asked to take part in it with my favorite fast food restaurant I could not pass it up.
We met the owner, of not just one McDonald’s location, but several in and around Metro Atlanta and after my husband and I spending time with him we can tell that it is his passion to be a part of something bigger than himself and this is one way that he could achieve it. We were treated to what has been my first full tour of a remodeled McDonald’s location.
As we enjoyed more of the tour, DJ shared with us the improvements McDonald’s has made including pledges made to do their part to help better the earth which includes giving staff a chance to improve and better themselves.
A way that McDonald’s helps to better their staff’s lives is by offering the Archways to Opportunity program which was created to provide assistance to restaurant employees so they are able to further their development and education.
- Tuition Assistance can be applied toward college courses at public or private colleges or universities, business, technical or vocational schools, and/or graduate or post-graduate school.
- Full time restaurant managers are eligible for $3,000 in tuition assistance per year, while crew are eligible for $2,500 in tuition assistance per year.
- Career Online High School gives restaurant employees the chance to further develop career skills with adult-focused class content and support from academic coaches.
Now had I known this earlier on when I worked for McDonald’s, I probably would have stayed and shared with others about how they are committed to their people and the communities to which their people live. After the very informative tour, we had some fun staging food and taking pictures of some of the wonderful offerings you can find at McDonald’s and speaking of which please find some information about some of the sandwiches I was able to feature below:Â Quarter Pounder, Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich and their Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich.
- Quarter Pounder with Cheese burger: features a ¼ lb. of 100% fresh beef that’s hot, deliciously juicy and cooked when you order. It’s seasoned with just a pinch of salt and pepper, sizzled on a flat iron grill.Â
- Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich: Grilled chicken breast sandwich made with all white meat chicken filet that has no artificial preservatives, flavors or colors and perfectly marinated for juicy flavor. Layered with crisp leaf lettuce and tasty tomato, and topped with a vinaigrette dressing, all on our delectable artisan roll.
- Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich: Buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich made with all white meat chicken filet and no added colors. Layered with crisp leaf lettuce, tasty tomato and mayonnaise, all on our delectable artisan roll.
- Happy Meal: small toy is included with the food, contained in a red box with a yellow smiley face and now features Avengers Endgame on the boxes
Upgraded menu boards inside and outside of the location keeps patrons coming back for more and once you visit you will say the same thing.
I almost forgot that special treat for the kiddos, well McDonald’s to help celebrate Avengers Endgame is offering their Happy Meals for only $3.00 and guess what? They have 9 choices of Avenger Endgame characters to choose from, available while supplies last.
