Summer is here y’all. It is the time to get out and play and get more exercise which in turn will help get one healthier. Along with one becoming healthier, comes hydration and guess what? Two of my favorites, beets and watermelons, are considered to be superfoods and provide that much need hydration. I know. I know. Not everyone likes either actually, but especially beets. Beets get a bad rap if you ask me. Let me drop some knowledge, that you may not know and there are immune boosting summer drinks.

1 frozen banana

1 cup frozen strawberries

½ cup Greek yogurt

½ cup Wonder Melon Watermelon Lemon Cayenne

¼ cup orange juice

Honey to taste

Buzz all ingredients in a blender and enjoy.

Immune Boosting Summer Drinks Wonder Melon

Tropical Beet-a-Colada

1½ cups ice

3 oz. Beetology Beet + Tropical Fruit

2 oz. coconut cream

2 oz. dark rum

2 oz. coconut rum

Blend all ingredients in a blender until frothy. Garnish with a pineapple slice.

I am not sure which was my favorite between the two, but honestly I think that I leaned more towards the smoothie. I made it vegan, by switching out coconut cream for the greek yogurt. Still so delish. Do you think that these immune boosting summer drinks will be ones you try?
