1 of the top Kitchen Utensils

Cooking is one of my favorite necessities and hobbies. Necessity when I have to eat and hobby when I just want to try out a new recipe and do something new and different. I do not know know about you, but the first thing that I learned to cook was boiled eggs. I do not know about you, but I lived in a household where both parents worked and sometimes the same shift, so learning to cook was a necessity.

Splatter-Screen

The second thing I learned to cook which was probably a lot of individuals first item was that tasty, fatty pork item, bacon!!!

Bacon was exciting to learn to cook because it was a meat and at the same time it was frightening because of the all to familiar flying grease. No matter what temperature you put the bacon on there was going to be some grease flying somewhere and you were lucky not to get popped in the eye.

I ran across 1 of the top kitchen utensils and that was a splatter screen. This piece of lovely was tested on Thanksgiving day as I was hobby cooking and trying a new recipe, which was not bad but I probably will not do it again.

The recipe called for bacon and this was the perfect time and perfect utensil. This particular on is 11″ and fit my pan perfectly. The handle, I noticed did not get hot during cooking and there was a tremendous reduction in the amount of grease popping and messing up my stove. The challenge I had with this utensil is that you have to maybe wash it by itself so it reduces the chance of it being damaged or bent in the dishpan. It is under 12.00 dollars and it is a great buy if you take my suggestions when it comes to cleaning. I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.

Thanks for reading and God Bless!!
