An Inspiring Night at the “Colors of Atlanta” Premiere

If there’s one thing I love, it’s seeing Atlanta through the eyes of talented artists — and the premiere of Colors of Atlanta absolutely delivered! ✨ Hosted by the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) and Tantra Worldwide, this brand-new travel and lifestyle series made its big debut at the Plaza Theatre during the Atlanta Film Festival, and I was lucky enough to be there to experience it firsthand.
The evening started with a lively welcome reception at 6:30 p.m. — the perfect chance to mingle, grab a bite, and get excited for what was to come. By 7 p.m., we all headed into the theater for the official premiere of Colors of Atlanta.
The series showcases Atlanta’s beauty from a whole new perspective, with each episode featuring a different photographer’s take on the city. And when I say the talent was next-level, I mean it! 📸 Some of the incredible photographers highlighted included Bagwell + Protasio, Bryce France, Cam Kirk, Cassie Wright, Creative Soul, David Batterman, John Fulton, Madelynne Grace, Matthew Odom, Ryan A. Carpenter, Ryan Vizzions, and Sheila Pree Bright.
Each artist brought such a fresh, authentic view of Atlanta — from its hidden gems to its bold, vibrant energy. It made me fall even more in love with the city all over again. 🏙️💛
After the screening, we got to stay for a Q&A session with the producers and photographers. Hearing the behind-the-scenes stories and personal inspirations behind the work made the series even more special. Sheretha Bell, ACVB’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy, was also there, sharing even more about the heart and vision behind this project.
Colors of Atlanta isn’t just a visual love letter to the city — it’s an invitation to see Atlanta in a new way. Whether you’ve lived here forever or are just discovering it, this series reminds you of the magic around every corner.
