A great new way to help learn Scripture as well as a great talking piece and way to share your faith with others is by wearing Scripture Tattoos. I was given an opportunity to receive a Verse Tattoo and Designer Pack (with several) free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
I do not have any tattoos (permanent ones) at the moment, and never really considered any until now. I would see others with all types of things that are important to them on themselves and some not so important, but I thought that was worth putting on my body even though it is temporary.
Faith not fear is the one I chose to best describe my life right now. There are a lot of things going on good and bad that I just have to chose to have faith and not fear.
I love that this was easy to apply and the instructions were 100% accurate. Place the tattoo face down on clean skin (no lotion), remove the protective layer, place a moist cloth on top of it for about 30 seconds, press down and then remove. Voila!!!
If you do not want to take your chances with the giveaway, use my coupon code (god4bandme) and obtain 20% off your order.
Have you ever tried a temporary tattoo? What was it?
(This is a sponsored post. I will receive a gift card to help cover the cost of the app, however my review is unbiased and honest).
About ATG Today App:
A devotional journal to help you enjoy your walk with God, with thanksgiving from your heart, everyday touches and prayers. Inspiration for 8 minutes with God at the start of your day, learning to hear His voice, memorize scripture, pray and journal. Lots of great ideas to build your faith, share scripture, encourage others and strengthen family devotions.
My view point:
I think that the app is great. From day one I received a scripture that I have read in the past, but had not remembered it and it did help me that day. It does not require a lot of time to be invested, only 8 minutes and those 8 minutes add up. You can do whatever it is you are doing and still listen. There is a cool portion that will help with reflection that asks you what you would like to thank the Lord for today, what you believe He is speaking to you about today and I pray today that you will….
Can you use a boost of Inspiration? Have you tried ATG Today? Do you think you will?
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This book is perfect for Mother’s Day and beyond. Mothers are connected to their children and reading to them also brings them closer. God’s love is shown through a mother’s love for her children.
This cute, quick read is beautifully illustrated and it goes along and shares the day by day adventure of a mommy bunny and her little bunny and infuses God all through it. Showing how He loves us and I believe the best part in the book is when they pray they always say, “You’re so good, God-thank You!” At such an early age it teaches the little ones that God is an important part and that He loves them.
I am looking forward to when I can read to my little ones and this is a great book to have in my collection.

The movie takes place in a small Virginia town whose community is slowly dying. Matthew, is now the owner of a business now no longer making money and is forced to make personnel and salary cutbacks, which manages to anger the local union and the workers.
The town gets even more upset when he threatens to cancel the town’s annual Christmas celebration and soon thereafter all heck breaks lose..
In his effort to save jobs, Matthew toys with slicing some salaries, but that causes the union to call for a strike. Later, these representatives vandalize his property and even send some thugs to beat him to a pulp.
Left for dead on the other side of the tracks, Matthew is cared for and nursed back to health by a young man named Clarence that manages to see the best in everything and at times it is a little annoying but kids tend to give people more chances than adults. You will see just that in this movie.
Clarence manages to change Matthews heart and at the same time just may change yours as well. It is certainly a feel good movie and great for around Christmas season.

Hambrick is the Director of Starting Point and Staff Development at Buckhead Church in Atlanta, GA – one of the North Point Community Church campuses in Atlanta that bestselling author Andy Stanley founded. John has served in other churches as an associate pastor and pastor. He has also been a staff member for Young Life and was one of the chaplains at Kings College, University of London.
His book Move Toward the Mess (David C. Cook, 2016) with a foreword by Andy Stanley is rich in conversation topics and thought provoking content to help you decide where you can serve in the Kingdom by “moving towards the mess” all around us. All the way through the book John pours out his deep understanding of what it means to follow Jesus in places like homeless shelters, the streets where prostitutes are seeking validation, and many other places where we see opportunities we can move toward. John profiles many of the organizations that are serving these areas and offers ideas for how we too can join them.
If we are to follow Jesus’ example, we aren’t to wait for people to come to us – but to move towards them: move towards the areas that can be the greatest area of need – the messy areas of life.
We have to get in the game and it is not in the safe 4 walls of our churches but outside of the 4 walls where it is not safe and cozy. Feeling uncomfortable in the sense that it is a different situation and you have no idea what is about to happen, but you know you are doing His will is where we are called to be.
The book shares that the majority of the world sees religious people spending their time being religious and encourages all of us to be more like Jesus who spent his days with messy people in messy situations.
North Point Community Church and its partner churches around the world have an annual campaign called Be Rich. In it, they invite churchgoers to give, share, and serve to those who need it most. To be rich in mercy and love. It involves serving in food pantries, homeless shelters, and anywhere anyone sees a need. Some have given of their tithes and others have donated food.
For me this book is more like a call to action: more standing up for the voiceless in love and giving more and willing to be open for His direction, so if you are bored with your Christianity, this book is for you.
I have received this product from Embrace Grace in exchange for reviewing the item and that this post is part of the FrontGate Blogger Network.
Showing the love of God in this crazy world is not a hard task if you get out of yourself and open yourself up to others. Everyone needs love, even if it is just in the simple act of smiling. .
More and more, I want there to be less of me and more of Him that others see in me and maybe see that there is hope. Not all in the world is bad.
My church helps a local crisis pregnancy center in the area by giving cute notes written by children, giving the young women Bibles and journals. Embrace Grace does the same type of things and see for yourself below:
Love in a Box is a pro-love initiative launched to help save babies and help moms get plugged into local
churches for spiritual, emotional and physical support through an Embrace Grace group.
Boxes are distributed to pregnancy centers nationwide and given to young, single women with positive pregnancy tests. The box is full of gifts that will inspire hope and impart love to a mom that may be scared for her future. Each box consists of a Fearless Journal and pen, a Bump in Life book, a baby onesie, testimonial letters of girls that chose adoption and chose to parent, an invitation to join an Embrace Grace group and a Brave Girl letter that can be written by YOU!
You have the opportunity to speak into the life of a mom that could possibly be contemplating a life or death decision. You can encourage, uplift and inspire her to choose life and to get plugged into an Embrace Grace support group at a local church.
We want to help brave moms choose life and get plugged into a spiritual family so they can be saved, discipled, mentored and be a part of a community that loves them the way Jesus loves.

Journaling has become so popular by adults and it is no wonder it has reached over to Journaling in Bibles. Journaling Bibles are such the coolest idea where people of all ages do it and it allows us adults to be a “kid”. How fitting, I had the opportunity to do a review on a Bible Journaling Kit which would be perfect to use in this Bible which was given to me for free in exchange for my honest review.
Benefits of this Bible are the following:
This Bible is appealing, sturdy, hardback, and it is bound to last for long. The Scripture is printed in 1 column as opposed to the 2 column layout in other Bibles. The challenging part is that with larger print the Bible is heavier. Excellent for a gift or for personal use, it can also be a cherished heirloom to pass on to future generations with your personal writings inside!
Do you have a Journaling Bible? If so, how often do you use it and has it enhanced your study/meditation time?
As I laid on my husband’s chest and listened to his heartbeat I began to feel a little sad. I hear my heartbeat all the time and it seems to be no big deal until there is something wrong and I thank God to still be able to hear it. I became a little sad because I thought about our little ones, my little ones that I miscarried and how I miss my heartbeats.
This post is not to harp on the sadness that I and countless others have felt during times like these and/or others when heartbeats become faint and then no more from senseless violence and other tragic events. This post is to help remind those that love life and are willing to take a stand for it, to continue to do so and for you to know that I have your back. God has your back for God loves life.
I Miss My Heartbeats
As I think about other men and women, who have miscarried and are still waiting on God, I say to you, “Don’t give up the fight ladies and gentlemen. What God has promised He has to deliver because He does not lie!”
Isaiah 40:31: Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
In the meantime, while waiting, I invite you to take part in a March for Life in your local city and try to get your mind off of just your situation and be open to maybe speak for other who cannot speak for themselves. I have enjoyed each time that I have gone to a March for Life March in Atlanta and have never regretted it.
I do miss my heartbeats, but I know that they are in heaven with Father God and are having a ball, so back to sleep on hubby’s chest I go.
Keep the faith. (Partial scripture: For we will reap if we faint not (Galatians 6:9)
