I found myself watching Gallows Road with Ernie Hudson and some other big names and I forgot I got drawn in. No cheesy movies or programming here. Internet based so you can watch it on any device, Roku, phone and/or computer which is what I am using. I love this subscription and would highly recommend it if you want to avoid seeing some of the degrading things on television. The videos are free from graphic violence, harsh language, sex, and nudity.
Get Crossflix Originals and the BEST in Christian entertainment for
you and your family!
As I mentioned above you have a chance to win a year subscription by Clicking Here. Have you heard of this subscription service and if so, what was the first thing you watched?
Let me just say that I totally believe that it occurred, but this is not about what I believe and neither is this movie. It is a truly unbiased take on the subject with arguments (good) on both sides which may have you questioning what you believe.
If you are into History and Egyptian History in particular and like to read the Bible or are just curious about it, the maker and the contents then this will be of some interest to you. This is family friendly so everyone can view it. I thought it was interesting and went to places that I want to visit personally however if you just want to watch something that requires no thought then this is not it for sure. You will think and it will probably make you do some research.

My husband is one to always want to keep his beard looking nice. When we first began dating, he used to have a longer beard but now a few years out of college and into the working world, he tends to keep it shorter and well kept. Beard grooming actually isn’t as expensive as you may think. My husband actually can achieve a good look with some pocket friendly products as well as the grooming tools and skills he’s mastered over the years. He actually gave me a few pointers and ideas on what type of products he loves using and the essential tools to keep his perfect beard in place day after day. Here are 4 basic tools he loves!
Beard Shampoo – I actually didn’t even know that a beard shampoo existed until my husband came home and couldn’t stop raving about a few he found at the store. A good quality beard shampoo, as opposed to soap, will keep your beard nourished. Soap can lead to dryness and your the small hairs to fall out as it’s harsh on your skin. This specific shampoo works best when used with a conditioner as well. It may sound a bit extravagant but it’s worth it and only washing it once in two or three days will do the trick. On days that you don’t use a shampoo on your heard, you can always rinse it well for hygiene and use a towel to dry it out. Image: Smoky Mountain
2. Bristled Brush and Comb – Having a bristled brush and comb with narrow teeth on one side and wide on the other is essential to keeping your beard from getting knotted. It also helps keep your beard tame. Having a bristled brush and comb can actually help spread your beard nourishment products evenly when you apply them to your beard as well. Some of my husband’s favorite bristle brushes and combs are right here and here. The best part about the combs are that they are polished for a snag and static free experience for your beard! 3. Beard Balm or Beard Oil – Having these products will help style the hairs on your beard and keep them in ‘control’ throughout your busy day. Some of my husbands favorite beard balms is the White Lightin’ Beard Balm. It has a clean, fresh, just-out-of-the-the-barbershop scent of Bay Rum. It has a premium blend of waxes, butters and oils to make your beard soft and manageable.
4. Trimmer – A basic trimmer with a blade adjustment or a razor is also another great essential for keeping your beard looking perfect throughout the day. My husband enjoys trimmers that can be easily stores and packed away for long trips or when he needs to use it quickly.
Now that I’ve explained a few of the basic essential tools to keeping your man’s beard looking sharp and spectacular, I’m sure you’re next question is where can I purchase these things? My favorite store ( and one stop shop ) is Smoky Mountain Beard Co! They specialize in these great products and have everything you need for your beard to stay healthy. Smoky Mountain Beard Co. was founded with simple beard grooming in mind and with the idea that the everyday hard workin’ man should be able to take care of his beard at a price he can afford. The idea that they are not all “Lumbersexuals”. The company is located in North Georgia, close to the foothills of the Appalachians and it’s Co-Founders Nate & Stacy have made it their mission to work hard to make sure these traditions stay alive and well. Customer service and Quality beard care products are their priorities. They hand pick the finest all natural ingredients as well as hand blend all of their beard oils and beard balms. What more could you ask for in a company that specializes the quality care that your man’s beard needs? So what are you waiting for friends? Grab your favorite kit and products from Smoky Mountain Beard co today and be sure to let me know what your favorite tools your man loves to use!

A great new way to help learn Scripture as well as a great talking piece and way to share your faith with others is by wearing Scripture Tattoos. I was given an opportunity to receive a Verse Tattoo and Designer Pack (with several) free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
I do not have any tattoos (permanent ones) at the moment, and never really considered any until now. I would see others with all types of things that are important to them on themselves and some not so important, but I thought that was worth putting on my body even though it is temporary.
Faith not fear is the one I chose to best describe my life right now. There are a lot of things going on good and bad that I just have to chose to have faith and not fear.
I love that this was easy to apply and the instructions were 100% accurate. Place the tattoo face down on clean skin (no lotion), remove the protective layer, place a moist cloth on top of it for about 30 seconds, press down and then remove. Voila!!!
If you do not want to take your chances with the giveaway, use my coupon code (god4bandme) and obtain 20% off your order.
Have you ever tried a temporary tattoo? What was it?
(This is a sponsored post. I will receive a gift card to help cover the cost of the app, however my review is unbiased and honest).
About ATG Today App:
A devotional journal to help you enjoy your walk with God, with thanksgiving from your heart, everyday touches and prayers. Inspiration for 8 minutes with God at the start of your day, learning to hear His voice, memorize scripture, pray and journal. Lots of great ideas to build your faith, share scripture, encourage others and strengthen family devotions.
My view point:
I think that the app is great. From day one I received a scripture that I have read in the past, but had not remembered it and it did help me that day. It does not require a lot of time to be invested, only 8 minutes and those 8 minutes add up. You can do whatever it is you are doing and still listen. There is a cool portion that will help with reflection that asks you what you would like to thank the Lord for today, what you believe He is speaking to you about today and I pray today that you will….
Can you use a boost of Inspiration? Have you tried ATG Today? Do you think you will?
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This book is perfect for Mother’s Day and beyond. Mothers are connected to their children and reading to them also brings them closer. God’s love is shown through a mother’s love for her children.
This cute, quick read is beautifully illustrated and it goes along and shares the day by day adventure of a mommy bunny and her little bunny and infuses God all through it. Showing how He loves us and I believe the best part in the book is when they pray they always say, “You’re so good, God-thank You!” At such an early age it teaches the little ones that God is an important part and that He loves them.
I am looking forward to when I can read to my little ones and this is a great book to have in my collection.

God Loves Mommy and Me is a celebration of strong, loving mothers, cherished little ones, and the God who loves them all. Perfect for story time, bedtime, or any time, this sweet board book celebrates God’s gift of family.
Is this a book that you would like to read to your little ones?
The movie takes place in a small Virginia town whose community is slowly dying. Matthew, is now the owner of a business now no longer making money and is forced to make personnel and salary cutbacks, which manages to anger the local union and the workers.
The town gets even more upset when he threatens to cancel the town’s annual Christmas celebration and soon thereafter all heck breaks lose..
In his effort to save jobs, Matthew toys with slicing some salaries, but that causes the union to call for a strike. Later, these representatives vandalize his property and even send some thugs to beat him to a pulp.
Left for dead on the other side of the tracks, Matthew is cared for and nursed back to health by a young man named Clarence that manages to see the best in everything and at times it is a little annoying but kids tend to give people more chances than adults. You will see just that in this movie.
Clarence manages to change Matthews heart and at the same time just may change yours as well. It is certainly a feel good movie and great for around Christmas season.

Hambrick is the Director of Starting Point and Staff Development at Buckhead Church in Atlanta, GA – one of the North Point Community Church campuses in Atlanta that bestselling author Andy Stanley founded. John has served in other churches as an associate pastor and pastor. He has also been a staff member for Young Life and was one of the chaplains at Kings College, University of London.
His book Move Toward the Mess (David C. Cook, 2016) with a foreword by Andy Stanley is rich in conversation topics and thought provoking content to help you decide where you can serve in the Kingdom by “moving towards the mess” all around us. All the way through the book John pours out his deep understanding of what it means to follow Jesus in places like homeless shelters, the streets where prostitutes are seeking validation, and many other places where we see opportunities we can move toward. John profiles many of the organizations that are serving these areas and offers ideas for how we too can join them.
If we are to follow Jesus’ example, we aren’t to wait for people to come to us – but to move towards them: move towards the areas that can be the greatest area of need – the messy areas of life.
We have to get in the game and it is not in the safe 4 walls of our churches but outside of the 4 walls where it is not safe and cozy. Feeling uncomfortable in the sense that it is a different situation and you have no idea what is about to happen, but you know you are doing His will is where we are called to be.
The book shares that the majority of the world sees religious people spending their time being religious and encourages all of us to be more like Jesus who spent his days with messy people in messy situations.
North Point Community Church and its partner churches around the world have an annual campaign called Be Rich. In it, they invite churchgoers to give, share, and serve to those who need it most. To be rich in mercy and love. It involves serving in food pantries, homeless shelters, and anywhere anyone sees a need. Some have given of their tithes and others have donated food.
For me this book is more like a call to action: more standing up for the voiceless in love and giving more and willing to be open for His direction, so if you are bored with your Christianity, this book is for you.
I have received this product from Embrace Grace in exchange for reviewing the item and that this post is part of the FrontGate Blogger Network.
Showing the love of God in this crazy world is not a hard task if you get out of yourself and open yourself up to others. Everyone needs love, even if it is just in the simple act of smiling. .
More and more, I want there to be less of me and more of Him that others see in me and maybe see that there is hope. Not all in the world is bad.
My church helps a local crisis pregnancy center in the area by giving cute notes written by children, giving the young women Bibles and journals. Embrace Grace does the same type of things and see for yourself below:
Love in a Box is a pro-love initiative launched to help save babies and help moms get plugged into local
churches for spiritual, emotional and physical support through an Embrace Grace group.
Boxes are distributed to pregnancy centers nationwide and given to young, single women with positive pregnancy tests. The box is full of gifts that will inspire hope and impart love to a mom that may be scared for her future. Each box consists of a Fearless Journal and pen, a Bump in Life book, a baby onesie, testimonial letters of girls that chose adoption and chose to parent, an invitation to join an Embrace Grace group and a Brave Girl letter that can be written by YOU!
You have the opportunity to speak into the life of a mom that could possibly be contemplating a life or death decision. You can encourage, uplift and inspire her to choose life and to get plugged into an Embrace Grace support group at a local church.
We want to help brave moms choose life and get plugged into a spiritual family so they can be saved, discipled, mentored and be a part of a community that loves them the way Jesus loves.
