6 Reasons to Attend Everything Food Conference? #EFC2018 As a blogger, many of us, see all types of conferences around the country and are curious about them and are not sure which ones to attend. That was the case for me when it came to deciding to attend the Everything Food Conference. I had heard about it and said to myself, “Self, so do you think you would want to go to Utah?†In my head, I said sure it is a place that I have never been and so I went on the quest of finding out more about the conference. To help you decide whether or not you…

Hurry get your tickets now. This is the last week for “Citizens Market” at the Horizon Theatre in Atlanta. In my previous post about this outstanding performance, I shared that it is a play about some hopeful group of immigrants as they form an unlikely family, working to master the ups and downs of language, love, and staying afloat in their world. We all can use some of what they shared throughout this play and that was compassion. “Citizens Market” shows how compassion wins and how everyone no matter their backstory matter. Everyone has some type of dream whether they are born here or immigrated here, we all have a dream. Sit…

Texture On The Runway Atlanta Recap
hen hair, fashion, beauty and some adult beverages come together it is bound to be a great night. I found myself at downtown Atlanta’s Terminus 300 and was glad to be invited by NatuallyCurly.com to Smooth ‘n Shine’s to debut the newly updated straight and curly hair line and how all hair can look fierce on the runway. We have to break out of tradition when it comes to the supposed perfect “model typeâ€, which includes hair texture, color and size. We all are beautiful and are able to rock the runway. I enjoyed looking at all the beautiful ladies with various colors and textures of hair and it made…

Meat Education 101 – Big Green Egg
I had the opportunity to attend the Meat 101 Class at Big Green Egg last weekend thanks to Culinary Local, www.culinarylocal.com, and it was so enlightening and eye opening. Big Green Egg Culinary Center is one of the best places to go for a great cooking device (Big Green Egg) of course, awesome and knowledgable staff/educators and some of the tastiest food. So there was this Meat Doctor, by the name of Jerry Draluck who facilitated the class and I see why they chose him. I have been to the Culinary Center about 3 times and each time it was so much fun and in an environment that is full…

Freaky Friday Fun At Horizon Theatre
A comedic bunch of laughs that everyone in the family will enjoy. The funniest thing to me like in the movie, is seeing the mother and daughter act like each other and it is so exaggerated, but at the same time it seems like there is no other way for either of them to act. They play each other so well that the mother could be the daughter and the daughter the mother. All of the songs are catchy and it made me want to be a teenager again. I totally wanted to be on stage when they were doing the slow motion thing and oh so funny was when…
